The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a classic trek that loops around the Annapurna Massif in Nepal. The trek offers diverse landscapes starting from lowlands covered with terraced fields to the arid semi-desert regions of the Manang Valley and finally, the world & deepest gorge of Kali Gandaki, before culminating in Jomsom.

The trek offers stunning views of the Himalayan ranges consisting of Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters), Annapurna I (8,091 meters), Manaslu (8,156 meters), and several other prominent peaks. The trek also caters to the adventure enthusiasts with challenging high mountain passes such as the Thorong La Pass (5,416 meters) and Tilicho Lake (4,919 meters) offering breathtaking scenery. The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a popular trek, attracting thousands of trekkers each year. DETAILS ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu & transfer to Hotel (1,350m)

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our dedicated airport representative will warmly welcome with traditional Dhaka Khada and transfered to your hotel in (Check in at 1400 Hrs).

Reminder of the day is at leisure.

Overnight stay at Hotel in Kathmandu (No Meal)

Day 2: Kathmandu city tour & trek preparation

After enjoying breakfast, we’ll embark on a Kathmandu city tour, exploring iconic cultural and historical landmarks including Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa.

Pashupatinath Temple: This is one of the holiest Hindu temples of Nepal. Located at the banks of the Bagmati river, we can explore the Temple complex. There are beautiful pagado style temples along with idols of gods and goddesses. You will also notice the funeral pyre on the banks.

Boudhanath Stupa: This is the biggest Buddhist pilgrimage stupa of Nepal. Built in the 5th century, the place offers a sense of peace and tranquility. You will find many Buddhist pilgrims going around the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.

Day 3: Drive to Chame (2,710m)

After breakfast, we will drive to Chame. It takes about 8-9 hours to reach Chame. Chame is district headquarters in Manang. Chame almost looks like a Tibetan village as the people of Chame migrated from the Nepal-Tibet trade route a long time ago and settle here. The customs, houses and culture here are highly influenced by Tibetan culture.

Day 4: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300m, 5-6 hrs)

After leaving Chame we pass through Telekhu and along the trail have some breathtaking views of Annapurna and Pisang until we have to re-cross on a suspension bridge to the south bank of the Marsyangdi river. After crossing theRiver we head higher passing a pine forest as we trek through the upper reaches of the Manang valley to Pisang. There are goods views of the Annapurna range and Pisang peak seen from the village of Pisang.

Day 5: Trek from Pisang to Ngawal (3,650m, 6-7 hrs)

From Pisang, the high trails Enters pine groves to reveal the glorious view of the small turquoise lake morning tso. The trail rises upwards to Ghyaru and enters well cultivated barley and buckwheat field before we reach Ngawal. Ngawal is one of the most picturesque village in Annapurna. One of the main Attraction of this village is a centuries-old cave of Guru Rinpoche which is in the hills overlooking Ngawal village.

Day 6: Trek from Ngawal to Manang (3,519m, 5-6 hrs)

Manang is just a few hours easy walk from Ngawal. We pass through deep forests and artistic monasteries to reach Manang. It is basically the capital of Annapurna circuit trek. Gangapurna lake in Manang adds beauty to the already beautiful Manang village. There are plenty of monasteries nearby to explore.

Day 7: Rest day at Manang (acclimatization day)

Today is acclimatization/rest day. Acclimatizing at Manang is most important because in the next few days you head for high altitude area, you gain height rather rapidly. You can explore Manang village. After explore Manang village, you can short hike to Bodzo Gompa to the east or to the Gangapurna lake and the Chongkor viewpoint over.

Day 8: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m, 3-4 hrs)

From Manang, we resume our trek and advance towards Yak Kharka. The trails pass through the Mani, Chortens and prayer wheel through the cluster old village of Manang. We will pass small stream and fields of potatoes, barley and buckwheat. Continuing along the Jarsang khola valley, we reach Yak Kharka. It takes about 3-4 hours. The trail passes through the meadows and pastures where horses and yak graze. After crossing on a wooden bridge over a small river, the trail passes an ancient old mani wall leading to Yak Kharka by lunch time. From Yak Kharka, we hike to the Chulu west base camp and return to Yak Kharka later.

Day 9: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m, 3-4 hrs)

From Yak Kharka, the tail ascends to Thorong Phedi. From here Yak the trail continues to go up the east bank of to the Jorsang Khola and go down to the small wooden bridge then cross the khola. You may plug a little bit tough this climb because you are walking in dry and arid high Himalaya but slowly walk and you can take your time. It takes about 3-4 hours to reach Thorong Phedi. The trail follows narrow and unbalanced screed slops with rocky-strewn to the Thorong Phedi. The trail overflows with the spectacular views of Mt.Gundang, Mt.Syagang, Thorong peak and Mt.Khatungkan.

Day 10: Trek to Thorong La Pass to Muktinath (5,416m, 8-9 hrs)

Our trek starts early in the morning and today is most likely the toughest day of the trek, hiking for around 8-9 hours. The higher altitude contributes to the degree of difficulty and sometimes strong winds in these upper regions. Along the trail we may pass sheep, yaks and merchants transporting their goods. The trail continues to climb traversing in and out of many full of ice here you will feel a little bit headache and cold because the wind is very strong on a clear day. The trail down with white snow soon you will find Kaligandaki village. You may sense release to have a hot cup of tea in a small tea house. The trail continues down through the yak pasture land to the Muktinath.

Day 11: Drive to Tatopani (Hot spring) (1,200m)

Today, we drive to Tatopani. A bumpy jeep ride to Tatopani passes through a lot of famous village like Jomsom, Marpha, Ghasa etc. Tatopani is translated as hot water in Nepali. Upon reaching Tatopani, you can relax in the natural hot spring and soothe our sore muscles after the strenuous trekking.

Day12: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,850m, 7-8 hrs)

We leave Tatopani and head up the Ghorepani. The route takes us through terraced farmland surrounded by mountains. Passing through the beautiful rhododendron forests, magnolia and of course a panoramic view of the mountain will reach Ghorepani after 7-8 hours.

Day 13: Hike to Poon hill & trek to Tadapani (3,210m, 6-7 hrs)

Early in the morning, we climb along the step trail to catch the glorious sunrise over the Himalayas from the viewpoint of Poon hill, the most popular trekking destination of the Annapurna region. Poon hill flaunts the spectacular views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the highest mountains including the close-up views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After spending sometime at Poon hill, we transverse through the beautiful florid rhododendron forests to the village of Tadapani about 6-7 hours.

Day 14: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,940m)

After breakfast, we regulate our journey to Ghandurk. The trail is short and easier today. The way to Ghandruk from Tadapani is quite peaceful and during the spring time, its beautiful with flowers. It is a perfect combination of nature and culture that offers trekkers the chance to experience the stunning beauty of the Annapurna region while getting a glimpse of the traditional lifestyle of the Gurung people. Ghandruk village is a big Gurung community settle village. We will have lunch at Ghandruk village and evening will visit Gurung museum and short village walk. We can get striking views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli and other mountains from viewpoint in Ghandruk. Homestay in Ghandruk is a pleasant experience.

Day 15: Drive from Ghandruk to Pokhara (827m)

After breakfast, we leave Ghandruk and we will drive back to Pokhara. Today is the last day of the trek. After reaching Pokhara you will be free to explore the city, lakeside market and the Phewa lake.

Day 16: Fly Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,350m)

Finally, you will return to Kathmandu in the morning. The rest of the day in Kathmandu is free to explore the tourist sites and do shopping. In the evening, we come together for a special farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant.

Day 17: Depart Kathmandu

Today, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your journey to next destination.
