DETAILS ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly greeted with traditional Dhaka Khada and transferred to the hotel in (Check in at 1400 Hrs).

Reminder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Full day city tour & trek preparations (1,350m/4,429ft)
Boudhanath Stupa: This iconic stupa is situated in the heart of Kathmandu and is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Thousands of Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims frequent this site, which historically served as a vital trade route between Nepal and Tibet. The stupa boasts an impressive height and a distinct rounded shape. Legend has it that the relics of Kashyap Buddha lie at the base of the stupa
Pashupatinath Temple: Your day starts with a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Renowned as one of the holiest temples of the Hindu deity Lord Shiva, its architecture, and the surrounding ghats along the Bagmati River offer a glimpse into Nepal religious practices.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla, and trek to Phakding (2,800m/9,187ft, 3-4 hrs)
We’ll catch an early flight to Lukla, giving us stunning views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest. After landing in Lukla, we’ll start our trek to Phakding, a riverside village. The hike is easy, taking around 3-4 hours.

Day 4: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280ft, 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast, today we will be trekking alongside the Dudh Koshi River and come across abundant villages, monasteries, a 5,6hour trek offering beautiful forests, suspension bridges with stunning views and enjoy the first glimpse of Everest. After a challenging climb, we will reach Namche Bazaar, the main trading center of the Khumbu region.

Day 5: Acclimatization day at Namche
Today is a rest and acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. The village boasts colorful shops, delicious food, and breathtaking mountain views. An early hike offers a stunning Himalayan sunrise and vistas of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We can visit the Sherpa Museum to learn about traditional Sherpa lifestyle and see captivating photography exhibits. Proper acclimatization increases our chances of reaching Dole, our ultimate goal.

Day 6: Trek from Namche to Dole (4,038m/13,249ft, 7-8 hrs)
Leaving behind Namche Bazar, we head towards Dole. The trail continues uphill and passes through small villages. We will continue ascending along the Dudh Koshi River valley. We will reach Dole after a challenging 7-8 hours trek offering a charming picturesque village and rhododendron forests.

Day 7: Trek from Dole to Machermo (4,410m/14,465ft, 4-5 hrs)
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we begin our trek to Machermo. Along the trail, we’ll pass by trailside shrines and prayer flags, offering stunning views of Mount Cho Oyu, the fifth highest mountain in the world, as well as Mount Kantega and Thamserku. We’ll also encounter beautiful meadows with grazing yaks, all while enjoying panoramic mountain views. After 4-5 hours of trekking, we’ll arrive in Machermo.

Day 8: Trek from Machermo to Gokyo (4,790m/15,711ft, 4-5 hrs)
Today, you’ll reach Gokyo Valley, your final destination. Trekking alongside the Dudh Koshi River, you’ll pass monasteries and chortens, enjoying views of the Khumbu Himalayas before reaching the first Gokyo Lake. you’ll ascend the Ngozumpa Glacier moraines to the second and third lakes, tucked behind the historic Sherpa village of Gokyo. This trek spans about 4-5 hours, passing Long pongo, Dudh Pokhari, and Raboche Tscho before arriving at Gokyo Valley.

Day 9: Hike to Gokyo Ri and Back to Gokyo (5,360m/17,580ft, 5-6 hrs)
Following breakfast, we will acclimate to the altitude at Gokyo today and if the weather co-operates we will trek towards Gokyo Ri. We can see the beautiful views of the Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu after we reach the summit of the Gokyo Ri. We will also hike to the Gokyo Lakes. The hike takes about 5-6 hours round trip. We will then retrace our steps back to Gokyo.

Day 10: Trek from Gokyo to Dole (4,038m/13,249ft, 3-4 hrs)
On the way, we will be enjoying the great views of Taboche and Cholatse praks. We will pass chorten and at the edge of this chorten, we will get the captivating views of Cho Oyu, Kangtega and Thaserku mountains. Then, we will trek towards Machermo, Lhafarma and Luza village and then reach Dole. The trek takes about 3-4 hours. We will spend our night at Dole.

Day 11: Trek from Dole to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280ft, 5-6 hrs)
After having healthy breakfast, we will head to Namche and can spot the amazing views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Taboche peaks. With a few hours of trekking we reach Namche army camp and enjoy the last views of the mountains. After 5-6 hours final we reach Namche Bazaar.

Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2,800M/9,187ft, 6-7 hrs)
Today, after having our early meal, we will first descend on the rocky path and then be crossing the suspension bridge and after 6-7 hours of trekking we reach Lukla. Today our trek finally comes to an end.

Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu(1,350m/4,429ft, 35minutes)
Our day will start with an early breakfast and will be on Lukla airport. Finally board our flight to Kathmandu. After arrive Kathmandu you will be free to explore the city and interact with the locals and you can enjoy shopping or simply taking a rest at your hotel. In the evening, we gather for a memorable farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant.
