Yala Peak climbing

13 Days

Yala Peak is a popular climbing peak located in the Langtang region of Nepal. Standing at an elevation of 5,732 meters, Yala Peak offers a challenging but rewarding climbing experience that can be accomplished within a relatively short period.

The Yala Peak climbing trip begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, followed by a trek through the beautiful Langtang Valley. The trek takes you through lush forests, picturesque villages, and stunning mountain landscapes, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

The trek to Yala Peak base camp takes you through the beautiful Langtang village, where you will acclimatize for a few days before heading towards Yala Peak. The climb to the summit involves crossing glaciers, steep snow and ice slopes, and negotiating crevasses, making it a technical climb that requires mountaineering experience and skills.

The summit of Yala Peak offers panoramic views of the Langtang mountain range, including Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and Ganesh Himal. After reaching the summit, you will descend back to the base camp and continue the trek through the Langtang Valley, passing through beautiful villages such as Kyanjin Gompa and Lama Hotel.

The Yala Peak climbing trip can be completed within two to three weeks, making it an ideal adventure for those looking for a shorter but challenging climbing experience in Nepal. The trip offers an opportunity to witness the natural beauty and cultural diversity of Nepal, as well as the unique experience of climbing a Himalayan peak.
