Teri La Pass Trek via Manang is a popular trekking route in Nepal that takes you through the beautiful Manang Valley and over the Teri La Pass. The trek is a challenging one and requires good fitness levels and previous trekking experience. The trek usually starts from the town of Kathmandu, where you will drive to Bhulbhule. The Manang Valley is known for its traditional Tibetan culture and stunning mountain views. As you trek through the valley, you will pass through several traditional Tibetan villages and witness the lifestyle of the locals. You will also see stunning views of the Annapurna Range, including Annapurna IV, Annapurna III, and Gangapurna. Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu & transfer to Hotel    

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our dedicated airport representative will warmly welcome with traditional Dhaka Khada and transfered to your hotel in (Check in at 1400 Hrs).

Day 2: Kathmandu City Tour & Trek Preparation

Today is dedicated to city tours, gear shopping, and permit preparation. Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, ancient temples, and stunning landscapes.

Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple is in Kathmandu. It’s dedicated to Lord Shiva. UNESCO lists it. It features pagoda-style architecture. It showcases intricate carvings. It stands by the Bagmati River. Daily rituals take place. Devotees frequent it.

Boudhanath Stupa: one of the world’s largest, draws visitors for its religious importance. Encircling the base are 108 niches with statues of the Dhyani Buddha Amitabha, symbolizing enlightenment stages. It holds significance for Tibetan Buddhists and locals alike.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule

Following breakfast, our extraordinary journey commences in the early morning,Drive From  Kathmandu to Bhulbhule by buss Passing the Trisuli and Marsyangdi River. as we traverse through the majestic Himalayan foothills, alongside meandering rivers, until we reach the Marsyangdi valley at Bulbule, passing through Bensi Shahar along the way.

Day 4: Trek from Bhulbhule to Jagat

Our trek starts along the iconic Annapurna Circuit trail, tracing the Marsyangdi River. As we climb steeply to Bahun Danda, we’re greeted by the stunning sight of Ngadi Chulu (7800 m). Descending through picturesque landscapes of cultivated lands, waterfalls, and quaint settlements, we reach Syange after crossing a suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi River. Continuing onward, we make our way to Jagat, soaking in the natural beauty along the route.

Day 5: Trek from Jagat to Dharapani

As we trek along the well-trodden Annapurna Circuit trail, we journey through the charming villages of Chamje and Taal, surrounded by lush bamboo forests. Upon crossing a suspension bridge at Taal, our path leads us effortlessly to Dharapani.

Day 6: Trek from Dharapani to Koto

Today’s journey involves trekking through steep forested terrain until we reach Timang. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Mt. Manaslu and other prominent Himalayan peaks, including Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. Afterward, we continue with an easy stroll to Koto, enjoying the serene beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

Day 7:  Trek from Koto to Dharmasala

Ensure all necessary permits are in order for the restricted Naar and Phu areas. Beyond Koto, our journey veers off the Annapurna Circuit trail, leading us into the narrower and steeper gorge of the Naar Phu Khola. We’ll trek to our campsite at Dharmasala (3230m), nestled amidst the tranquil wilderness of the region.

Day 8: Trek from Dharmasala to Naar Village

Continuing our journey up the valley, we follow the trail until we reach Naar Phedi (3490m), where we cross the river. Afterward, we ascend to Naar Village, ascending to higher altitudes amidst the stunning Himalayan scenery.

Day 9: Rest day in Naar Village

Naar Village bears rich Tibetan influences with its Stupas, monasteries, and Chhortens, echoing traditions from ancient times. The captivating inner Himalayan landscapes offer a serene backdrop, where locals cultivate barley, buckwheat, and mustard. Additionally, there are ample opportunities for short exploratory walks, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the region.

Day 10: Trek from Naar Village to Lapse Khola

Departing from Naar, we descend towards the valley of the Lapse Khola. After crossing the river, we ascend to camp in a high yak grazing area situated at approximately 4700 meters elevation.

Day 11: Trek from Lapse Khola to Lungri

The trail meanders alongside the Lapse Khola, maintaining an altitude of around 4800 meters, as it ascends and descends to navigate various side valleys. As the day progresses, we eventually reach the river and settle for the night at an elevation of around 5000 meters.

Day 12: Trek from Lungri to Teri-La Base Camp

Continuing our path alongside the main Lapse Khola, we steadily ascend towards a high camp nestled beneath the looming pass, situated at approximately 5350 meters above sea level.

Day 13: Cross Teri -La Pass to Pasphu Khola

Today is the crucial ascent to Teri La Pass. Start early, ensuring a balanced hike tailored to your body’s needs and the Himalayan weather. The breathtaking views from Teri La Pass, including the Annapurna ranges, Chulu mountains, and Teri La Peak, are worth capturing in your memory. After enjoying the pass area, descend to the camp at Pasphu Khola.

Day 14: Trek from Pasphu Khola to Yakpa

Today’s journey entails a lengthy descent, punctuated by several climbs to navigate tributary streams. Despite the challenging terrain, we managed to reach Yakpa (4315m) nestled in the Upper Kali Gandaki Valley.

Day 15: Trek from Yakpa to Tangge

On yet another extensive day of trekking, we continue our descent through the untamed wilderness, eventually arriving at the village of Tangge (3338m) in Upper Mustang.

Day 16: Rest Day in Tangge

Tangge, with its allure and mystique, offers a captivating window into the intricacies of life in a trans-Himalayan village. This presents an invaluable chance to gain a deeper understanding of the rich tapestry of local culture and traditions woven into the fabric of daily existence.

Day 17: Trek from Tangge to Yara

Continuing our journey northward on a gently rolling trail above the Kali Gandaki, we arrive at the picturesque village of Yara (3605m). The trek spans approximately six hours, encompassing an ascent of 850 meters and a descent of 500 meters.

Day 18: Trek from Yara to Lo-Manthang

Descending towards the Kali Gandaki River, we cross to the western bank and steadily ascend towards Lo-Manthang, the esteemed capital of Mustang, situated at an elevation of 3800 meters. The journey spans approximately 7 to 8 hours, involving an ascent of 800 meters and a descent of 600 meters.

Day 19: Exploration day in Lo-Manthang

Today is dedicated to exploration in and around Lo Manthang, a mesmerizing enclave characterized by its labyrinthine alleyways, adorned with brightly painted houses and chortens. This presents an opportunity to immerse oneself in the rich cultural tapestry of the region, delving into its storied history and engaging with its hospitable inhabitants.

Day 20: Trek from Lo-Manthang to Ghemi

As the pinnacle of our trek comes to close, we begin our descent, passing by ancient monasteries nestled within quaint villages. With the final glimpse of Lo Manthang, we continue our journey downward, eventually reaching the village of Ghami.

Day 21: Trek from Ghami to Samar

The trails take us through a series of ups and downs as we traverse from one ridge to another, passing by Nyi-La before descending to Samar. Along the way, we’re treated to stunning views of the majestic Annapurna range, adding to the beauty of our journey.

Day 22: Trek from Samar to Kagbeni

The trek to Kagbeni offers a scenic and leisurely walk through charming narrow paths, surrounded by white-painted houses, lush fields, and breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Nilgiri mountains. Don’t miss the chance to visit a monastery dating back to the 15th century upon reaching Kagbeni.

Day 23: Trek from Kagbeni to Jomsom

Today marks the final leg of the trek to Jomsom, with a relaxed stroll along the banks of the Kali Gandaki River. Jomsom is a bustling hub, serving as the administrative center of the Mustang district. While there, don’t miss the chance to explore the ancient Thakali tradition, culture, as well as the rich flora and fauna at the Eco-cultural museum in Jomsom.

Day 24: Fly Jomsom to Pokhara. Rest day in Pokhara

A quick 20-minute flight from the apple city takes you to the tourist haven of Pokhara, nestled between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, take a short walk along the lakeside, where you can enjoy stunning views of both the mountains and the picturesque Phewa Tal.

Phewa Lake: is the second-largest lake in Nepal. It covers an area of about 4.43 sq km with an average depth of about 8.6 metres and a maximum water depth of 19 metres. The reflection of Mount Annapurna can be seen on Phewa Lake. Another attraction of this lake is Taal Barahi Temple, a pagoda-style temple on an island in the middle of Phewa Lake.

Devi’s fall: Devi’s fall (also known as Devin’s and David’s) is a lovely waterfall lying about 2-Km south-west of the Pokhara airport on the Siddhartha Highway. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin, David) was washed away by the Pardi Khola and mysteriously disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall.

Gupteswore Cave: One of the largest caves in Pokhara dedicated to Lord Shiva is another nature’s wonder in Pokhara.

Bindabasini temple: situated in the northern part of the beautiful lake city of Nepal is the temple of Bindabasini. Located near the busy Old Bazzar of Pokhara, the temple of Bindabasini stands proudly at about 3000 feet above the sea level along the Annapurna and Machhapuhhare Himalayan Range. Bindabasini temple, the temple of the guardian deity is of great religious value to the Hindus living in Pokhara.

Day 25: Fly Pokhara to Kathmandu.Free day in Kathmandu

We take a Morning flight to kathmandu. We’ve scheduled a free day in Kathmandu for you to relax and explore after your scenic trek in Teri La Pass.You might want to shop or wander around the bustling Thamel area, known as the tourist hub for shopping.In the evening, we come together for a special farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant.
