Outline Itinerary

Day Activities
Day1 Arrival at Paro. You will be greeted by our guide and transfer to Thimphu (55km – 1.5 hrs). On the way visit Tamchog Lhakhang & Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang).
Overnight stay at Hotel (Includes:  Dinner)
Day2 Thimphu city tour; Changangkha Lhakhang, Takin Preserve, Textile Museum, Simply Bhutan Museum, King’s Memorial Chorten, Trashichho Dzong, “fortress of the glorious religion”.
Overnight stay at Hotel (Includes: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day3 Drive to Punakha (72km – 2.5 hrs). Later visit Punakha Dzong, Chimi Lhakhang, and Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery.

Day4 After a short visit to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten, we drive to Paro (115km – 3 hrs). On the way visit Simtokha Dzong and later visit Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong). Rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight stay at Hotel (Includes: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day5 Morning hike to Taktshang Monastery (the Tiger’s Nest – approx. 5 hours walk) and on the way back visit Kyichu Lhakhang.
